Christine Brekke
I grew up as a Third Culture Kid; the first time I lived in the US was when I went to college. My parents were diplomats with the US Foreign Service, and we moved every four years. I lived in places like mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and England. Though growing up internationally was an amazing experience, I am happy to set down roots now as an adult.
What motivated/inspired you to become an attorney?
There were many takeaways from my nomadic life. One has shaped my career immensely: access to the legal system and justice must be available to all. Most people have never needed an attorney before and going into the unknown can be daunting.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
It is an honor to help our clients navigate through the legal landscape and a privilege that I can champion the cause of those who deserve justice.
What are your hobbies and interests?
When I am not working, you can find me in the garden. My hope is to complete the Master Gardeners program. I also enjoy volunteering with my local humane society.
