Daniel Morse
I have been practicing law since 2001. Here is a bit of background about my life, education, and work experience.
Growing up, my family moved around a lot while following my dad's job as a groundwater remediation expert. Our dinner table conversations formed my views of environmental stewardship and corporate accountability (or lack thereof). I wanted to make documentaries focused on these big issues, and I earned a B.S. in Telecommunication from the University of Florida. Go Gators. An illness set me on a different path, and when I recovered, I received a scholarship to the Pepperdine University School of Law, from which I graduated in 2001. I started my legal career as an insurance defense litigator in the Los Angeles area. I moved to Tennessee and further honed my practice with a small civil litigation firm focused on business and commercial clients. Life took me to Utah during the 2008 - 2012 home foreclosure crises, and I learned the satisfaction that comes from truly helping the underdog when the odds are stacked against them.
I joined Brayton Purcell as their Utah office managing attorney, and have enjoyed representing our clients and their families as we navigate the ever-changing legal landscape of toxic tort personal injury cases.
