Until U.S. asbestos use was halted in the 1970’s, the families of workers exposed to asbestos at their jobsites received frequent doses of secondary exposure.
Whether it was from a ‘welcome-home’ hug or the laundry to be done during the week, secondary exposure is a main cause of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.
