At least one incident in a fast food restaurant playground occurred where a child’s head was entrapped and an adult had to cut the net to release the child. Though no serious injury occurred the potential for strangulation is high.
Consumers who know of a playground cargo net which could cause head entrapment should stop children from climbing on the net and report the playground. Call the CPSC at: 1-800-638-2772
to report the location of the play yard and the brand of the cargo net.
