Liquid Glitter iPhone Cases Cause Skin Irritation and Burns

Liquid glitter iPhone cases from MixBin Electronics were recently recalled due to a significant defect in the product. Reports state that if a case breaks or leaks, the liquid and glitter mixture can cause skin irritation, burns, and even permanent scarring. So far, 24 reports of skin irritation and burns have been submitted, and two of those reports included consumers with chemical burns. MixBin issued a recall notice stating that consumers should stop using the cases immediately and contact the company for a full refund.

The cases were available for purchase from October 2015 through June 2017 at GetMixBin.com and these retailers:

• ia’s Secret

When making purchases, consumers should be able to trust that the products will not cause accidents or injuries.
